Eureka Recycling MRF in Minneapolis, MN, has received GOLD certification in glass recycling.

In 2023, the GRF awarded nearly $150k in grants supporting projects that diverted 1660 tons of glass from landfills. The 2024 grant application is May 29 - July 10, 2024.

Murphy Road Recycling and its All American MRF in Berlin, Connecticut has received GOLD certification in glass recycling.

The fourth annual survey, administered by RRS, queried more than 260 recycling coordinators, solid waste staff, material recovery facility operators, glass processors, and brand and manufacturer representatives.

The coalition has awarded a gold certification to CCRRA and a bronze certification to Mazza Recycling.

The Glass Recycling Coalition has awarded two material recovery facilities (MRFs) with gold-level MRF glass certifications, including Mid America Recycling in Iowa and Single Stream Recyclers in Florida. The GRC's free certification program has recognized more than 10 MRFs that have additional equipment or operational procedures to clean up glass in both single- and dual-stream systems.

The Glass Recycling Coalition (GRC), Ann Arbor, Michigan, has announced FCC Environmental Services has received gold-level certification for two material recovery facilities (MRFs) based in Dallas and Houston. According to GRC, FCC Environmental Services is the first to receive gold designation for MRFs without integrated glass beneficiation in the state of Texas and the eighth and ninth MRFs to receive this certification in the country.
